About Salon Nova's Owner Kim Legassie: Kim knew that hairstyling was her passion from an early age. Her family, friends and teachers instilled the mantra that if you believe in yourself, anything is possible. In addition to her passion for the art, Kim has a passion for education. Her belief is that education is crucial to the success of a stylist. In her 18 years in the industry Kim has been trained and mentored by some of the best in the business. While gaining experience at area salons, Kim was hired at one of the top Salon and Day spas in the Main Line area at the age of 20. It was there that she was mentored by many great stylists while attending educational programs from Sassoon, Redken, Sebastian and Bumble and Bumble. During her 14 years there Kim became an educator, teaching classes and sharing her passion with other stylists. It was then that Kim followed her dream to open Salon Nova.
